Who doesn’t love a big reveal? At CHIEF we live to see the reactions on our clients faces when we present new ways of reimagining their brand. Whether it’s a logo refresh, an updated content hierarchy or a full blown website redesign, we pride ourselves on not only delivering beautiful web experiences—but ones that grow business and amplify impact.
Being that a full-scale redesign often takes months of work behind the scenes, a site launch only adds to the anticipation leading up to the big debut. It’s always an added bonus when industry peers share in our excitement and recognize the team’s work—which happened recently when CHIEF was named a Webby Honoree for our work on the Groom Law Group (Groom) website redesign.
Our relationship with Groom began in 2017, when the group engaged CHIEF 18 months into the process of a website redesign and only a few short months away from launching. Our assignment: help get the site across the finish line, polish off the content, finalize the information architecture and make sure the user experience was perfect.
But here at CHIEF, we like to go big—and so we did.
That’s not to say we didn't rewrite the content, we did. We also worked with the client to streamline their information architecture and make the site easier to manage. But we didn’t stop there. We provided council on Groom’s brand and unique value proposition. We created a rich and immersive prototype that was so compelling the client ultimately signed off on scrapping their original site and handing the keys over to CHIEF for a complete redesign.
Energized by the opportunity and trust the clients placed in us, the CHIEF project team took those keys and accelerated. We got to work rewriting content for consistency of tone and voice, developing targeted keywords to improve search engine optimization, and streamlining the information architecture so users could navigate more efficiently. But what’s most apparent to even an untrained eye, is the Groom site’s elegant design—highlighted by bold photography and an oscar-worthy homepage video
Don’t believe us? Check out the site and see for yourself. We’re thrilled the results, and honored by the industry recognition. Above all, we’re proud to say Groom walked away with a website worthy of its reputation, and with which users can seamlessly interact.
